Background:
The company has identified that the booking of airline tickets form a major part of the administration of our crew management services. Having established Mariners Crewing Software as our company standard, we now intend to add further functionality to control the movement of Seafarers to and from their contracted vessels. We call the functionality group the Travel Module. Using the Travel Module we will be able to provide a more controlled request and acceptance procedure for the crew changes. We aspire to integrate crew travel management functions into Mariners System, then we can share crew information with other Mariners modules, such as Forward Planning, Contract Management etc directly.
